CURRENT ACTIVITIES
I've been providing therapeutic services at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, in Bedford, MA since 2015. I work with youthful and older adults to address a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, grief, and anxiety. I also work with high performing professionals to address issues that occur in a fast-paced and demanding workplace. In all areas of I work I seek partnership and leverage the strengths of each individual I serve to help them overcome challenges they face.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN PSYCHOTHERAPY
We will begin with making sure this is the right fit for you. I strive to create a safe and accepting environment driven by empathy and understanding, so you feel comfortable sharing challenges you may be experiencing. You can expect for us to work together to set goals and expectations based on your needs and preferences. The therapy sessions are designed to explore your concerns, and to be both flexible and adaptive. We will leverage your strengths and implement effective tools that can improve the quality of your life.
In our work together, you can expect a supportive therapeutic setting. We will work together to not just decrease the symptoms that get in the way of you living the life you want to live, but to also find meaning and purpose as you move forward.
"In any given moment, we have two options: to step forward into growth or to step back into safety"
- Abraham Maslow
